NJ State Police officials are investigating a crash that severely injured a person on a highway in Middlesex County Saturday night.
Troopers were dispatched to the northbound lanes of the NJ Turnpike just south of exit 9 to investigate reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, police found the crash scene with a severely injured person.
The victim was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for treatment and was last reported in critical/life-threatening condition.
State Police officials have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
