On Monday, one person was transported to the hospital suffering injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Newark's Ironbound section.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of Nichols and Pulaski Stree to investigate reports of a person struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found the person who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported, and the incident is under investigation.
