UPDATE: Female Gunshot Victim Who Entered Elizabeth Hospital Was Injured in NYC Mass Shooting

Police have confirmed that a woman who entered an Elizabeth, NJ hospital suffering bullet wounds sustained her injuries during an NYC mass casualty shooting that killed one person and injured three others Saturday. 

The broad daylight Flatbush section of Brooklyn shooting happened near the intersection of East 45th Street and Snyder Avenue around 1:45 p.m. 

According to a statement released by the NYC Police Department, they received several 911 calls reporting shots fired inside a basement apartment of a building on the corner of East 45th Street and Snyder Avenue.

NYPD said fast responding cops arrived and found a 27-year-old female victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body and Mr. Emmanuel Soray, 39, with a gunshot to the face, unconscious and unresponsive.

Officers at the scene located a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound on his leg.

According to NYPD, all victims were rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced Soray dead. 

Police said the 27-year-old was in critical condition and the 40-year-old was in stable condition.

While investigating the scene, officials at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth notified NYPD that a 22-year-old woman entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds. 

Police said she checked herself into a hospital with gunshot wounds in the arm and buttocks. The woman is in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured.
