Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Jersey City late Saturday night.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Clinton and Monticello avenues shortly before 11 p.m.
When units arrived, they reportedly found an uninjured female who told them that while sitting in a car with a male driver, gunfire erupted in the area and bullets struck their vehicle multiple times.
Police confirmed that the car was damaged from the shooting and received several bullet holes.
Authorities questioned the driver to understand a possible motive for the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
