Passaic County authorities reported that Paterson Police officers were dispatched to 12th Avenue and William Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officials said police located a potential crime and a 20-year-old male Paterson resident suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
According to The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, aid was immediately rendered to the victim, and he was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
