An armed carjacking in the city has police on the search for the suspects responsible.
Police were called to the area of Rt. 1&9 north near North Ave. for reports of an armed carjacking that occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m.
Authorities began a search for two black males armed with guns who took a black Jaguar from the victim before fleeing at a high rate of speed northbound on the highway towards Newark.
There were no injuries reported.
