Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 12:45 p.m. on March 6, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to River Street and 6th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
According to Paterson Police, upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
An investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the area of Lyon Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
