The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit has confirmed that a male found shot in a Jersey City community has died.
Police responded to reports of a male shot outside the Jersey City Firehouse in the single-digit block of Bergen Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday.
When cops arrived, they found an unidentified male suffering a bullet wound in his head.
Hudson County Prosecutor Suarez said the male was pronounced dead at the scene by medical professionals.
The shooter fled the scene and is at large.
Prosecutor Suarez has not released a motive for the attack at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
