Police are on the scene of a shooting in Elizabeth’s Westminster section, with a male injured at this time.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Westminster Avenue around 3:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found a male suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
Witnesses said they saw a suspect run towards North Broad Street in possession of a gun.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect remains at large.
