A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a train in Mercer County Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, an Amtrak train struck the pedestrian near the Princeton Junction Station around 7:25 p.m.
All trains -including NJ Transit- traveling on The Northeast Corridor line was suspected in both directions between Trenton and Jersey Avenue.
Amtrak officials have not confirmed a fatality as of 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The incident is under an active and ongoing investigation.
