Jersey City Police are investigating two neighborhood shots fired incidents that occurred early Wednesday morning.
In one of the shootings, police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Wegman Parkway and Ocean Avenue around 1:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, police located shell casings after a male suspect reportedly fired several rounds at an occupied vehicle.
While cops investigated the Wegman crime scene, they learned of shots fired near Fulton Avenue and Ocean Avenue.
Police say police followed the vehicle wanted for this shooting onto the NJ Turnpike, where the driver was last observed speeding into Newark.
Authorities reported no injuries in either shooting.
