A three-alarm fire damaged three Jersey City homes early this morning, displacing nine families.
Jersey City Fire Department responded to 8 Seidler Street at approximately 1 a.m., for report of heavy fire at the two-story wood-frame home.
The fast moving fire quickly extended to 6 Seidler Street and 10 Seidler Street, according to officials.
The stubborn fire was placed under control by 1:53 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Nine families, consisting of over 30 people, were displaced by the blaze. Families were relocated by the Red Cross, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
