Four Trenton police officers responding to a Hancock home for a family dispute, suffered injuries as they intervened.
Police responded to a Hancock Street home shortly after 11 p.m. for a report of a dispute.
Upon arrival, officers found 24-year-old Dayshawn Lane and 27-year-old Craig Lane fighting, police said.
When the officers stepped in to break up the fight, the men began fighting with the officers.
Four officers suffered injuries. One of the officer suffered a bite would after one of the police dogs accidentally but the officer. A second officer suffered a sprain hip. A third officer suffered a knee injury and a nose injury after being punch. The fourth officer suffered a head injury after he hit his head on a truck.
All officers returned after being treated, police said.
Craig Lane was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, improper behavior, resisting arrest and failure to disburse.
Dayshawn Lane was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and failure to disburse.
A third person, later identified as 21-year-old Mar'Quiona Payton, also was charged with obstruction, resisting and failure to disburse.
