A 30-year-old man was rushed to University Hospital this evening a victim of gunfire.
Police responded to the 200 block of South 11th Street for reports of shots fired at around 9:15 p.m. Upon arrival, police found the man suffering gunshot wounds to the groin and shoulder at that location.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where he is expected to survive his injury.
There were no arrest made. An investigation is underway.
