Jersey City authorities found a person shot in a section of the city Wednesday night.
At approximately 7:50 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired near 245 Martin Luther King Drive.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and no arrests have been reported.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and will recover.
