Police in Union are investigating a fatal fall at a house in the township Saturday.
According to Deputy Chief Scott Breslow, at 11:52 a.m. on January 7th, patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Ray Ave for a medical aid due to a fall.
Upon arriving, Deputy Chief Breslow said units found a male lying on the ground in front of his house, suffering severe head trauma.
The victim, a 62-year-old male, lived at the house and it appeared he was on a ladder taking down his Christmas lights when he fell off the ladder.
Deputy Chief Breslow said he landed on his front concrete walkway and struck his head.
Immediate medical care was given and the victim was transported to University Hospital by a Union Fire Department ambulance.
