Police in Newark are looking for a suspect wanted for a shooting in the city's South Ward Thursday night.
It happened around 7:55 p.m. near 850 South 16th Street.
Officers found several shell casings, but no injuries were reported after cops canvassed the scene.
A ShotSpotter device was activated in the neighborhood, alerting officers of the shooting.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.
