A Maplewood teacher pleaded not guilty today to charges that she sexually assaulted six students.
Nicole Dufault, 35, a language arts teacher at Columbia High School, entered the pleas on 40 counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to prosecutor, Dufault was offered a sentence of 15 years in prison, with parole eligibility after 85 percent of the term has been completed, if she plead guilty to the charges.
Dufault has yet to respond to the offer.
Dufault is accused of engaging in sexual activity between 2013 and 2014 with six male students between the ages of 14 and 15.
According to prosecutor, there's a video of Dufault engaging in sexual activity with a student while another was present.
