A pedestrian suffered non-fatal injuries after a vehicle struck them in a section of Elizabeth Friday morning.
It happened around 3:07 a.m. near the intersection of Westfield and Morris avenues.
Police found the person injured after a car ran them over at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital and expected to recover and the driver reportedly stayed at the scene.
Elizabeth Police will handle the investigation.
