Multiple blast of gunfire in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Dwight Street sent several police units to the scene shortly before 2 a.m. where they discovered a male victim shot at that location.
EMS were immediately called in where they transported the male victim (who was reported to be around the age of 24-years-old) to Jersey City Medical Center suffering gunshot wounds to the neck and back.
A crime scene was setup as authorities searched for evidence in the area.
