Authorities in Newark are on the search for several suspects wanted for an armed robbery in the city's Ironbound section overnight.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress near 156 Walnut Street around 2:05 a.m.
When units arrived, they found a couple who reported that while leaving a restaurant, suspect exited a dark colored vehicle armed with a gun and stole thier wallet and car keys.
Police believe that the three assailants returned to the vehicle identified as a Honda Accord with rpeorted NJ license plate numbers "F72-RCW" reported by witnesses.
No physical injuries have been reported .
