Newark Police are looking for suspects responsible for a shooting that injured a male in Newark's Central Ward Friday night.
At approximately 8:45 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 259 Irvine Turner Boulevard.
When cops arrived, they found evidence of a shooting and several witnesses reported seeing two potential victims speed away in a car.
While police checked the crime scene, officials at University Hospital notified officials that a male victim entered the emergency room suffering gunshot wounds.
Officers located multi-shell casings at the scene of the shooting and in the 500 block of Bergen Street.
No arrests have been reported and the victim's injuries were reportedly non-fatal.
