Police set up a crime scene in a section of the South Ward while officers searched for possible victims of a shooting this morning.
Police say gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Hansbury and Maple avenues around 11:15 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found multiple shell casings, but no victims were found after cops searched the area.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
Police announced no arrests.
