Newark Police are investigating a stabbing incident that injured a man in the South Ward Saturday afternoon.
Officials at Beth Israel Hospital notified police when a male victim entered the emergency room suffering stab injuries around 2:45 p.m.
The victim told police that he suffered injuries after being stabbed at a location on Lyons Avenue.
The victim is reportedly in stable condition. Police announced no arrests in the stabbing.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
