Police are on the search for a prisoner that escaped a city hospital a short time ago.
46-year-old Elijan Shabazz was being held on charges of robbery, burglary, and resisting arrest. Shabazz escaped, while being attended at The University Hospital shortly after 11 a.m. after complaining of chest pains this morning.
He was last seen in the area wearing a black shirt, black pants and Timberland boots according to authorities.
The hospital is on a full divert.
