Jersey City Police are looking for suspects responsible for a shooting incident in a section of the city overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 400 block of Ocean Avenue around shortly before 8:30 p.m.
When offices arrived, they found multiple shell casings and a person suffering a non-life threatening graze wound to his their at that location.
The victim was treated for the injury while police searched for a vehicle occupied by several suspects who began shooting at a man who returned gunfire at the car.
Both parties fled the scene and remained at large.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
