Today, The Honorable Mayor Andre Sayegh in partnership with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park will host a Naturalization Ceremony.
According to a statement released by city officials, Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh, Council President Shahin Khalique, John E. Thompson, USCIS District Director, and other dignitaries and invited guests, will join 40 candidates and their families, representing 17 different countries as they are sworn in as citizens of the United States.
Officials said the ceremony is from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Overlook Park amphitheater, 72 McBride Avenue.
The 40 candidates will participate from the following countries:

- DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
- ECUADOR
- GUATEMALA
- GUYANA
- HAITI
- HONG KONG
- INDIA
- IRAN
- JAMAICA
- KENYA
- SOUTH KOREA

- TURKEY
