Law enforcement officials in Mercer County are investigating the motive for a shooting that injured two victims in Trenton Saturday.
It happened around 3:52 a.m. in the 900 block of Genesee Street.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area and when police arrived at the scene, they found two individuals suffering bullet wounds.
Both victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment while police remained at the scene searching for evidence and other possible victims.
The suspect fled the scene and remained at large.
