Ocean County officials announced that on September 20, the Honorable Guy P. Ryan, P.J.Cr.P, ordered that Justin Donaldson, 36, of Lacey Township, shall remain detained in the Ocean County Jail.
According to preliminary reports, Donaldson is pending trial on the charge of murder in connection with the death of his father, David Donaldson, 67, also of Lacey Township, which occurred on September 7, in Lacey Township.
Donaldson has been lodged in the Ocean County Jail since his apprehension on September 7.
Assistant Prosecutor Kimberly Carr handled the detention hearing.
The charges referenced above are merely accusations, and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
