Enterprise Truck Rental is announcing a significant milestone of reaching 500 branch locations across the U.S. and Canada, thanks to its first location in Newark, New Jersey.
Company officials said the new branch, which officially opened this summer, is one of three branches tied for the milestone of being the 500th location for Enterprise Truck Rental.
After opening at least one branch weekly for 60 consecutive weeks, company officials said Enterprise Truck Rental continues to expand its footprint to meet the rising demand for seasonal, project-based, and e-commerce delivery rentals and vehicles for personal truck rental needs.
Previously, the nearest Enterprise Truck Rental location was 40 minutes away from local customers and served portions of the Newark market.
Enterprise company officials said the new branch would serve the entire Essex County and part of the New York Metropolitan area while providing customers with easier access to truck rental solutions—including cargo vans, box trucks and tow-capable pickup trucks for both business and personal use.
According to Enterprise, as of opening day on July 25, 2022, there will be three dedicated truck employees: a branch manager, a senior account specialist and a vehicle service attendant.
The Enterprise Truck Rental Mount Vernon branch is located at 2052 McCarter Hwy (service road to NJ-21) Newark, NJ 07104.
The business manages a versatile fleet of trucks and vans to support key industries such as moving and storage, final mile, construction and telecommunications, among others.
Enterprise Truck Rental's journey toward 500 branch locations resulted in three concurrent openings in Greenville, N.C., Newark, N.J. and Rogers, Ark.
The sites were strategically selected to meet rising customer demand in each region. The branches offer a wide range of cargo vans, box trucks and tow-capable pickup trucks.
"There was actually a three-way tie for Enterprise Rental’s 500th location, which speaks to our fast-paced growth over the past two years," said Pugh
"Our business is scaling fast — and our expert teams have done a great job managing the demand while continuing to provide flexible, efficient and reliable transportation solutions to our customers, Mike Pugh, Corporate Vice President, Enterprise Truck Rental, said.
