A home invasion robbery that took place in the 50's block of Cutler Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the city's North Ward has authorities in Newark investigating.
The suspects are described as two male Hispanics (one heavy-set, the other thin) and a female Hispanic. The suspects reportedly forced their way into the residence where two elderly sick patients were home at the time, making off with jewelry and a cell phone.
The suspects reportedly wore mask and gloves during the robbery.
One of the victims were taken to the hospital as a health precaution but was not injured by the suspects.
