Police in Paterson reported injuries in a Saturday shooting.
Early morning gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 124 Putnam Street around 3 a.m., prompting a police investigation.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified male suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
The victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Police have not announced an arrest in the shooting. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office will lead the investigation.
