Harrison Police are investigating a pedestrian strike that caused severe injuries to a person in the town Friday evening.
At approximately 8:55 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Cleveland Avenue and Hiram Place to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police, fire and EMS found the unidentified person suffering severe injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital and the extent of their injuries has not been released by police at this time.
The investigation remains active.
