Police recovered shell casings at the scene of a shooting in Newark's West Ward on Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 226 South 10th Street shortly before 1 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings in the driveway of a home at that location.
Police searched the neighborhood by no injuries were immediately reported.
The shooter fled the scene and remains at large.
