Passaic County officials reported that at approximately 1:58 p.m. today, Paterson Police were advised that a 26-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the shooting occurred in the area of East 28th Street and 7th Avenue.
Police said a potential crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
