Passaic County officials reported that at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Clinton Avenue and North 6th Street on a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered two individuals, a 36- year-old and a 54-year-old, both from Paterson, with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center where the 36-year-old-male was pronounced deceased.
The 54-year-old male is in stable condition.
