Divers recovered the body of an unidentified person from the Hudson River in Bergen County Sunday night.
The individual is believed to be the person officers were looking for after they received reports of a missing person around 8:30 p.m. in the 80's block of River Street.
Preliminary reports indicated that Bergen County emergency responders and rescue crews were dispatched to the vicinity of Englewood Mariner to investigate information about a person who fell off a boat.
Upon arrival, crews began to search the water for the victim near the Englewood Boat Basin.
The body was recovered shortly before 9:45 p.m., and the investigation remains active.
