Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Newark's Central Ward on Monday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 6:15 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 50's block of Jones Street.
Arriving officers taped off a parking lot after locating several shell casings, but no victims were found after canvassing the area.
Police checked around the New Community Housing development for two black male suspects -believed to be juveniles- who sped from the scene on electric scooters.
The suspects remain at large.
