A Newark man pleaded guilty today to the aggravated manslaughter of a Newark man who was left to die in North Bergen.
Daeshawn Jennings, 30, could face up to 20 years in prison after he plea guilty this morning before Hudson County Superior Court Judge John Young.
Jennings admitted that on the night of Dec. 30, 2012 he driving to the home of Darryl Williams, where he beat Williams with various items.
Williams was then tied, taped up and driven to a Tonnelle Avenue gas station, according to Jennings.
Jennings is scheduled to sentenced by Young at 9 a.m. on June 4.Five others charged in the crime included; Latoya Mozee, Nidia Mozee, Qudeera Adams, Mark Brown and Kathleen Jones.
