Police in Union Township are investigating an early morning crash that caused severe damage to a mini-strip mall on Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation indicated that emergency responders were dispatched to 1571 Morris Avenue to investigate reports of a crash before 3:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a vehicle had lost control and crashed into businesses and sidewalk fixtures at that location.
Initial reports revealed that there were injuries presumed, but the extent of the driver's injuries could not be immediately confirmed.
There were no reports of pedestrians struck on the sidewalk at this time.
The investigation remains active.
