North Brunswick Police announced that they responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 130 in the area of Washington Place around midnight. The North Brunswick Fire & EMS departments also responded.
Police officials confirmed that one person was killed and several others sustained injuries.
Police said that Route 130 was closed in both directions for several hours as a result of the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the North Brunswick Traffic Safety Bureau, with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office also assisting in the investigation.
