Paterson Police are reporting two victims shot in a section of the city on Monday night.
Authorities said at approximately 9 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 30's block of North Main Street.
Several police units arrived at the scene and found a person suffering a bullet wound in their leg at that location.
Police say as officers searched the area, they found a second person suffering a bullet wound inside a building.
Both injured victims were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and remain in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Since Friday, about a dozen people have been shot in the City of Paterson.
