Police reported non-life-threatening injuries for a male gunshot victim struck by bullets in a section of Jersey City on Monday afternoon.
The broad-daylight shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Steven Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found multiple shell casings in at least two locations and a male victim suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound in his leg.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.
Police believe the armed suspect wore a black hoodie with "Montclair State" on it.
A bullet entered the window of a building in the 100 block of Wade, but no one inside was injured, according to police.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and the suspect is at large.
