Firefighters are investigating the cause of a house fire that left several people displaced late last night.
Heavy fire broke out in a large two-story house located at 300 Roseville Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. sending fire crews to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the upper floors of the house heavily engulfed by fire. It took firefighters about an hour to bring the stubborn blaze under control.
There were no injuries reported.
Several residents were relocated by the American Red Cross and The Newark Department of Emergency Management.
