Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Eliseo Estrada, 60, of Fairview, on aggravated explicit assault, explicit assault, and endangering the welfare of a minor charges.
The arrest results from an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Fairview Police Department under the direction of Chief Martin Kahn.
According to Prosecutor Musella, on Monday, June 6, the Fairview Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged explicit assault of a minor.
An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department revealed that Estrada explicitly assaulted the minor, who was 13 years old or younger at the time, in Fairview on multiple occasions.
As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, June 7, Estrada was arrested in Paramus and charged with aggravated explicit assault, explicit assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Estrada was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
