Hudson County officials are investigating a drowning incident that killed two brothers in Bayonne Wednesday night.
Sometime before 8:22 p.m., emergency responders were called to the Lincoln Community School Pool to investigate reports of a drowning.
When rescue crews arrived, they found two victims in the waters.
According to reports, the pair were pulled from the pool, and CPR was performed before being rushed to the hospital.

“Unfortunately, I have very sad news to share with our community in reference to a pool incident at Lincoln Community School pool.
This evening, two brothers, one a recent graduate of Bayonne High School and the other a current Bayonne High School junior, have passed away.
This is an active investigation at this time being conducted by the Bayonne Police Department.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and to all of our community.
We will have additional crisis counselors and guidance counselors tomorrow at all schools. Our pool at Lincoln School will be closed to all activities until further notice”.
