State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that injured one on Saturday night.
According to officials, the crash occurred on June 4, at 7:46 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway southbound near milepost 81.4 in Toms River.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford Explorer was traveling south in the left lane, followed by a Harley-Davidson MC, operated by Ronald McGinness Jr., 59, of Jackson.
According to the investigation, in the area of milepost 81.4, the Harley-Davidson MC overturned and struck the rear of the Ford.
As a result of the crash, McGinness suffered serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
