Passaic County authorities said that at approximately 4:13 a.m., Paterson Police officials were notified that a 42-year-old female Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim was in the area of Summer and Montgomery streets when she was shot.
Police say a potential crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
