One person suffered serious injuries in a stabbing incident in Paterson on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., police were notified of an injured person in the vicinity of 186 Park Avenue.
According to reports, officers found an unidentified person suffering multiple stab wounds at that location upon arrival.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and is in serious but stable condition.
The motive behind the attack is under investigation. No arrests were reported.
