Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 5:05 p.m. on May 18, members of the Paterson Police Department were notified that a 41-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim was in the area of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson when he was shot.
A potential crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
